Sydney has worked with babies and moms together in several different avenues. Her background includes working as a Mother/Baby Registered Nurse at the University of Virginia Medical Center. There, she developed a passion for helping moms & babies have a good start in all things breastfeeding, newborn, and postpartum care. Knowing how much feeding babies can be a source of anxiety for so many families, Sydney was driven to become a Certified Lactation Counselor through the Academy of Lactation Policy & Practice (ALPP).

Sydney is passionate about helping moms gain confidence in feeding their babies, and is passionate about prenatal education and post-natal support. As a mom of two little ones herself, Sydney understands what it is to need support, encouragement and how each breastfeeding journey is unique!
